Tamil Protesters , who urged to boycott Sri Lankan cricket and government , have caught up with Legendary Indian Cricketer Sunil Gavaskar who listened about the Sri Lanka’s persecution on Tamils.Gavaskar came out after the match after hearing that Tamils are protesting outside the stadium and listened carefully to activist who explained to him about the killings of Tamils and need to countries to boycott Sri Lanka.

He was also interested to listen about the ongoing persecution of Tamils under Ethnic Sinhala , Sri Lankan military. After Tamil Protesters invaded the ground like unceasing waves, one of the biggest protest cricket world have ever seen in the history , Gavaskar and other prominent players were much interested to find out the demands of protesters.

Protesters thanked Gavaskar for his humanity and interest shown, to understand why one must boycott Sri Lankan cricket.

Sunil Manohar “Sunny” Gavaskar is a former cricketer who played during the 1970s and 1980s for Mumbai and India. Widely regarded as one of the greatest opening batsmen in cricket history, Gavaskar set world records during his career for the most Test runs and most Test centuries scored by any batsman. He held the record of 34 Test centuries for almost two decades before it was broken by Sachin Tendulkar in December 2005.
